GAVS DISCO / G D Entertainment Cymru is a full time mobile disco and operated by proprietor Gavin Jones

Gav starting DJing over 20 yrs ago, while working in the paradox nightclub ( now K2)  In CAERNARFON, after playing with equipment at the  end of the night and at staff parties. Shortly afterwards he was ask by his father RAY JOHN (KARAOKE PRESENTER), after years of being his roadie, if he wanted to DJ at one of his events, in the PADRAN LAKE HOTEL in LLANBERIS. The night went down well, with the guest all having a good night. He got the DJING bug.

Gav was then ask to do another couple of events with his father the same month.

The following year he kept going out to events with his father RAY JOHN KARAOKE presenter. Gav was then approached to do his first event all by himself, a good friend of his had got engaged, so was ask to do his party at the CAERNARFON FOOTBALL CLUB. Gav was nervous, but the event went down well. Shortly afterwards Gav did his friends parents anniversary party at the SEIONT MANOR HOTEL in LLANRUG.

Gav then decided to start GAVS DISCO, in 2002.

Gav then got approached from power of sound disco from COLWYN BAY, Gav was given help and advice from proprietor DJ IAN.

In February 2008 Gav was made Friday night resident DJ in COFI ROC in CAERNARFON.. (2008 until 2015)

In July 2009, Gavs Disco went Full time.

In September 2013 Gav was made the Au Night (Wednesday night) resident DJ In the Students Union's ACADEMI Nightclub in Bangor. (Bangor University) (2013 -)

In September 2014 Gav was made the Karaoke host for the Bar Uno, ( Student Bar)

In September 2016 Gav was made Monday night (Cheese night) resident DJ at the Academi Nightclub in Bangor.

Gav's Disco has won THE BEST ENTERTAINMENT AWARD, NORTH WALES REGION AT THE NATIONAL WELSH WEDDING AWARDS in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015,2016, 2017, 2019, In  2018 Gavs Disco was finalist, .
After 2 year break, The Welsh National Wedding Awards returned, With Gavs Disco getting a 9th regional award for 2022, And getting the 10th in 2023.

Over the years Gavs Disco has grown, and is now a team of DJ's who go out under the brand name of GAVS DISCO.

From March 2024 Gavs Disco will also be known as G D Entertainment Cymru.
